Lesbian bars in Amsterdam

In Amsterdam, there are two bars for lesbian, bisexual and queer women. They are located somewhat outside the traditional gay streets in the old city center.




The oldest lesbian place in Amsterdam is Café Saarein. This place was opened in 1978 and attracts lesbian women of all ages.

A more recent place is Bar Buka, which was opened in 2019 and attracts mostly young lesbian, bisexual and queer women.
